I came to IHS because I was struggling with lower back pain. It had gotten so bad that I purchased a new mattress in the hopes that it would subside, but it did not. I couldn't sleep and woke up every morning with a lot of pain and tension in my lower back. I thought I was doing everything right. I lifted weights regularly, walked and rode my bike often, ate pretty well and did a decent amount of stretching. I was at my wits end. I decided to give IHS a chance as a last resort and I'm very glad that I did. In just a few weeks Dr. Goodwin has helped me get rid of my lower back pain and she has educated so that I understand what was causing it and what I need to do to keep it from coming back. I'll be honest at first I was skeptical that her diagnosis was correct. It just didn't make sense to me that my lower back pain was being caused by a weak core and pore posture. I was wrong. Trust Dr. Goodwin and the professions at IHS and get rid of lower back pain today.

I started going to IHS for a lower lumbar disc issue/sciatica. I had tried regular physical therapy for it with little progress prior to that. I started seeing Dr. Grundman, who performed dry needling services, chiropractic adjustments, and did PT exercises with me. He is a very nice and helpful person, and really helped soothed any nerves I had about trying dry needling for the first time! I saw him twice a week for about 4 weeks and have experienced significant progress and pain relief. I’m really happy I started going to IHS and I can’t recommend the level of care here enough!
