I came to Dr Berry after 2 1/2 years of frozen shoulder, I couldn't barely lift my arm. I had tried everything - PRP, year+ of Physical Therapy, manual therapy, Light therapy -- each gave a small amount of help. Orthopedic Docs told me my only option was to replace the shoulder...but not really speaking of fixing my motion. I read about shockwave therapy and it's capabilities to help. My own Chiropractor didn't offer this, but encouraged me to find the right practitioner. Dr Berry was the one with the reviews mentioning frozen shoulder, the videos, the explanations -- so I showed up for a consult. I can say, I absolutely had more motion and less pain after the very 1st visit. I'm a few months out now and have 95% of my overhead motion back, and 75% of my "behind the back" motion. I will continue until I get it all! Dr Berry uses the combination of a few key exercises, the shockwave treatments and Class IV Laser treatments to move you forward. The patient HAS to do the exercises to push movement into the joint after he breaks up the boney areas in the soft tissues (shockwave) and extinguishes the inflammation/pain (laser). It is a heavy teaming between a doctor who uses his tools with SUCH knowledge of anatomy and physical responses AND the patient doing the exercises he defines for you. (I have also had his Class IV K-Laser help me with some other injuries!) Dr Berry will tell you up front if he can or cannot help you -- and he proves his knowledge and experience with his success. I am blessed having such a wonderful doctor help me on this journey! A huge benefit is his office manager Candy who is always cheerful and encouraging....even when you come in exhausted or discouraged!

I have been suffering with Calcific Tendinitis since May, and Dr. Berry has provided me with the very first relief that I have had since then. I developed frozen shoulder as a result of the tendinitis, and decided to seek out alternative therapies because I knew SOMETHING had to be out there that could help me. I found a few studies on how shockwave therapy can help with pain and ROM and decided to find a doctor in my area. I came across Dr. Berry and found that he was a specialist in this treatment of this particular condition and so I scheduled an appointment immediately. For each person, the number of sessions can differ depending on the level their frozen shoulder is at .... but I will say that within 4 treatments of Shockwave therapy followed by laser therapy, I have reduced my pain dramatically and started getting a decent amount of ROM back. I have noticed individual differences each time I leave the office depending on which area he worked on that day. I am so grateful that I found his office, as this therapy is working and really helping me get back to my daily life without as much pain and letting me sleep through the night as well. He says that he specializes in this treatment, and I fully believe that. I'm so glad that I found him when doing my searching. He is patient, kind and very attentive to my individual complaints each day, and has been giving me shoulder exercises as well to keep up with in between appointments. Dr. Berry is one of the best. I have sent my mother, my wife, and many friends to him. He really cares and focuses on the body as a whole!!! These days, you don't just want to go to a doctor for everything especially fi they prescribe a pill each time, and you don't just want to go to any chiro as many now a days seem like they have a "secret healing" drug or focus on other stuff than healing! Not Dr. Berry. I have been pretty banged up since I was hit by a car. I also joined the army and even though I was fit than, not so much now. That being said, things started finally aging and pains would come. Dr. Berry took the time to teach me and go over different options and how we can heal it. Even taught me how they did it in the ancient times and said the best thing "if it works and isn't broken, no need to fix it!". Anyways, I have seen him many times and even though I live in Chino Hills, I plan to see him again as I can't find anyone here!

I was having severe pain in my hip and one session, the pain was minimized.
