Welcome Back: Scott Sweeney, DC

I spoke with Dr Sweeney today about coming to see him. We had not met yet so this was a first introduction. He was very pleasant eager to help me and see me. Overall I’m looking forward in working with Dr Sweeney to help with my TMJ.

Dr Sweeney has helped me for many years. His gentle spinal adjustments always leave me feeling relieved of tension and pain. This friendly office is a pleasure to deal with.

I know this sounds a little dramatic, but Dr. Sweeney truly gave me my life back. After more than a year of visual disturbances, anxiety and panic attacks, derealization and feeling off balance…and tons of confusion and frustration about all of the above, Dr. Sweeney “cured” me within a few visits. I couldn’t believe two little bones in my neck being off could cause all of that. I couldn’t be more grateful to Dr. Sweeney for pinpointing this issue and putting my life back in my hands, instead of living at the whim of an improperly aligned neck. Thank you, Dr. Sweeney! Dr. Sweeney is a called and gifted healer. He goes far beyond most chiropractors in his analysis and treatments. He practices the NUCCA method, which under his hand, is truly precision chiropractic. With incredible sensitivity and feel for the entire skeletal structure, he always finds my specific problem areas and corrects them perfectly in each visit. I was referred to him for his expertise in correcting issues of the cervical spine after my jaw locked and would open only slightly. But before seeing him, I had already undergone six months of unsuccessful table-popping chiropractic treatments elsewhere, plus physical therapy for TMJ. On my first visit, he diagnosed issues in the cervical spine including; improper alignment of the atlas (my head was not properly seated on the spine), and several vertebrae were out of place. In that one visit, he corrected all those issues and I noticed some improvement right away and could open my mouth much further. Several weeks later, I noticed that the jaw joints did not feel the same on both sides of my head. When I mentioned that to him, he carefully felt them, realized the left side was dislocated, and very quickly adjusted it. After a split second of pain, the jaw was back in place and I could FULLY open my mouth! So, after those previous six months of almost no improvement, Dr. Sweeney had me completely functional and comfortable in just weeks.
