I can’t heap enough savage praise on Lydia. I’ve dragged my battered carcass to her for years—neck screaming, head pounding, joints howling like busted machinery, the whole body a junkyard of dents, dings, and now the creeping treachery of age—sciatica, stiffness, the slow-motion betrayal of flesh.
