Dr. Sam saved me. I flew into Dallas for a big race and my back was a wreck. I couldn't even tie my shoes. I had trained diligently for 5 months for this race and I know my body well but nonetheless I started having problems a week or two before the race. Dr. Sam was the right person at the right time. As an aging athlete, I've been to plenty of physical therapists and chiropractors over the years. Dr. Sam is really really good. She understood how to approach me - seemed to understand intuitively what I needed. Yes, there are some imbalances I need to solve and yes I won't get better in one session. But she understood the moment - I was visiting town, I'm in pain and my race was that night. This was a Saturday morning. Sam got my back balanced and after 40 minutes or so of treatment she assured me that the inflammation would come down as they day went on. She was right. I was nervous going into the race but everything was loose and I was pain free. I placed 3rd in my age group and beat my best time by 9 minutes. I'm back home in New York now doing all the things Dr. Sam suggested I do to truly get back to good back health. I'm close but still more work to do. If Sam were local for me, I'd be in her office every week just for maintenance work. Dr. Sam made a huge difference for me in just one day; I'm very grateful.
