Awesome results and great service, wish I had gone sooner!

Dr. Lawlor was a really nice guy, but unfortunately he made my neck worse. He told me that I was a “guaranteed fix.” After paying thousands upfront and 8 sessions later my vertigo/migraines and neck pain became worse than ever. I now have an issue with a disc in my neck due to his treatments which I found out through an mri and spending thousands with neurology. I’m a chef here in the city and I went to him nearly feeling 75% better. I figured that he could take me the rest of the way based on his reviews but ever since seeing him, I’ve been spending thousands of dollars trying to fix and undo the damage that he caused me. I now have to stop working again for the 2nd time since seeing him because the vertigo and migraines are leaving me nearly mentally/physically crippled and I’m unable to do my job. Which is costing me even more money. Sadly I didn’t get a full refund because I was told that “he put the time in.” Well the time that he had put in made me way worse. Just be cautious when someone tells you that you’re a guaranteed fix and will for sure fix you. For some people he may be able to help. For me, it nearly destroyed me.

We are incredibly grateful for the care we received at Upper Cervical of San Francisco. Dr. Lawlor helped relieve the symptoms of torticollis our newborn was experiencing, and the results have been amazing. His gentle, precise approach made us feel confident and at ease from the very first visit. This is going to be a lengthy review because nothing will put life into perspective faster than loosing your health. To say that Dr. Lawlor gave me my life back would be an understatement. He has given me the ability to live an even fuller life. Words will never truly express what he has done for me and how much I cherish his care and guidance through such a venerable time in my life. One morning I woke up with a very intense pressure in my head. My vision felt a little blurry and I almost thought i had a migraine without the pain. The only things was, that pressure never went away after that morning. I went to Dr after Dr and did brain scans followed by spinal taps followed by appointments with multiple ENTs and Neurologists and Eye Drs and more bloodwork than I can even explain. I was put on medications that were giving me constant anxiety and making me weak. When the medication wouldn't work, Every Dr would tell me the same thing. “You are as healthy as can be, go live your life!” However as the months went on I began to not be able to drive any longer, I couldn’t stand for long enough to play with my daughters or cook my family dinner any more. My head was full of so much pressure all the time. The craziest sensation I have ever felt. It was almost like a constant brain fog. I would jumble up my words when speaking and feel/ hear myself doing it but couldn’t help it. My symptoms became debilitating. I couldn’t focus long enough to even play a round of rummy with my husband. Our family stopped camping, adventuring or going for hikes because i couldn’t do it anymore. I spent months laying on our sofa trying to figure out what was going on with my body. I exhausted every avenue and was getting to the point where this feeling was taking over my life. I was 29 years old and barely able to walk down the hallway without feeling like I needed to lay down. I came across Dr. Ryan Lawlor after my husband suggested a more natural approach. I read review after review on the Upper cervical chiropractors in San Francisco/ surrounding areas and i stumbled upon a review on Dr. Lawlors page that was very similar to what I was experiencing. I honestly remember reading that review and crying to my husband with hope that I may have found out what is going on with my head. I was begging for this to be it, I was praying that Dr. Lawlor would be able to give me my life back. Dr. Lawlor is a very knowledgeable, straight forward, very blunt type of guy. At the same time, he is kind, gentle and compassionate. He takes his time with you. That first appointment changed my life. The confidence in his eyes is what got me through the unknown in the first few months of treatment. After my first adjustment I felt a difference and I was in disbelief. Some head pressure continued to come and go for months during our treatment plan. He warned me this is to be expected and that this process takes time but I will NEVER feel as bad as when I first came in and he was right. Eventually around month 6 of treatment that head pressure went away completely. I started to really regain my ability to focus and most importantly… I am able to run around and play with my daughters again. I can focus during conversations with my husband and whoop his butt at rummy again. I can watch my kids jump all around and smile with happiness and just take them in. My family and I are back to adventuring and camping and taking life one day at a time. Dr. Lawlor gave me my health back. I would like to add that the first person you talk to when booking an appointment is Heather and she is an absolute angel. When my daughters come with me to my appointments they adore their conversations with Heather and Dr. Lawlor. -Sammie
