I have been seeing Cheryl for a year now after having been diagnosed with diverticulitis. After doing a complete blood work up, she put me on a diet, with supplements customized to my needs, and recommended an exercise routine. This has changed my life! With her guidance, I have been able to live my life very differently. I feel super well all the time! She has been accessible all of the times I have needed advice and support. I have learned a great deal from her. Her perspective is quite different from my PCP's, so I solicit and value her input before making making decisions about my health. Example: The results of the blood work-up she goes goes beyond what my doctor considers "normal" or "acceptable" and reveals optimal ranges. I believe, as does she, that optimal ranges for the categories give me an opportunity to address and prevent diseases, such as diabetes, rather than to treat them after continuing to assume that everything is okay simply because I fall within the normal range for most Americans. By eating a diet rich in protein, low in sugar, carbs, and dairy, my PCP has been very impressed with the results. I actually lowed my cholesterol by 100 points in a very short period of time. I can't recommend her enough!!

As a CDL holder for thirty years, it was a joy to find this medical facility. Had "Dr. Paul," and he was very well versed in how the D.O.T. physical needs to be carried out. As a recent arrival here in California, I welcomed his expert analysis; he answered each and every question I had (as a seventy-four-year-old driver, some items can be problematic, though clearly necessary.) Will definitely be returning in two years, for my next required physical; thanks, Dr. Paul -- truly! Oh, and thanks also for laughing at my well-worn, NY/Boston limo/bus driver jokes; I trotted out some oldies, but you still managed to utter (seemingly!) geniuine laughs! You certainly earned your pay!!

Dr. Cheryl Borrego is absolutely amazing! She is one of the few doctors that still truly cares about her patients well being and overall health. She doesn't just treat the symptoms, but gets to the root of your issues. I would recommend her to anyone!
