Lakes Holistic Care - Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture - Auto Injury

I have many years of body work experiences with many different chiropractors/massage/rolfing/reiki..etc.. I think Dr. Chris is one of the best chiropracters I have had. The perfect combination of strength and sensitivity. And a really nice person too.

First time here, excellent massage from Miranda. Plan on going back.

Dr. Chris is knowledgable, kind, has a lot of different skills and services. I always feel better after receiving his care. Staff is professional and also kind.

This is a review for Nancy, a massage therapist with Lakes Holistic Care. I purchased this massage for my daughter and scheduled an appt for her birthday last week and the massage therapist (Nancy) called and canceled less than an hour before the appt saying she hurt her wrist, I was frustrated and explained it was my daughters birthday and she was looking forward to it and she curtly said well I'm sorry but you should call back next week to reschedule...although frustrated, I called back to reschedule it for the next Sat (today) at 1:30 and the same masseuse just texted (less than an hour away from appt time) and said she can't make it and needs to reschedule. I've been trying to call the number she texted from, no answer, i tried calling the actual business several times, no answer, then I receive another text from her stating she can't answer the phone, she can only text. I called the business phone back a few more times, no answer. Then a few minutes later, she calls and says this is Nancy and I need to cancel and reschedule...i said you cancelled and rescheduled me last week for my daughters birthday she said I know but im having a family emergency today...I said this is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to my time...she said this is emergency that has been going on for a while and i said that's not the customers fault and you should have your business setup better than this...she huffed and said you can just come on in and I'll have my sister do the massage. I said oh, no ma'am, not only am I not coming today, I'm not coming to patronize you ever. This business needs to take a good look at their affiliation with Nancy as she's going to be the source of many complaints because I'm willing to bet I'm not the only person this is/has happened to by her.
