As a jiujitsu black belt that has been training, teaching, and competing since 2003, I've had my fair share of injuries to say the least. Early in my jiujitsu career I suffered from sciatica. Finally I found Dr. Erik Shimane and he is the sole reason why I am still able to step on the mats today.
