Let me be upfront by saying, I am not a patient, but this Dr. has been amazing for my trusted assistant. I went to Dr. Barrett with severe neck pain and inability to move my neck. I had never been to a chiropractor and was extremely nervous. He was able to get me back to great mobility and I have no pain. However, the reason I’m writing this review is because of a co-worker. She sustained a shoulder injury at work and was passed to three orthopedic surgeons and remained undiagnosed. I referred her to Dr. Barrett, who read the imaging she brought with her and diagnosed her with four herniated discs and a tear in her shoulder. When he showed us the imaging we couldn’t believe that the other specialists had just bypassed these findings, especially when the radiologist had included in the report that there were four herniated discs and a tear. Dr. Barrett was able to treat the herniated discs, but the tear in her shoulder remained a problem and was the cause of incredible pain. He relentlessly advocated for her with worker’s comp and found a surgeon that correctly diagnosed her. She has been scheduled for surgery to correct the tear. None of this would have happened without Dr. Barrett’s intervention. Not only did Dr. Barrett go above and beyond, but his entire team at his office is absolutely top-notch. They have all been beyond helpful and are extremely kind and understanding.
