I have been to about a dozen chiropractors over the decades, and they were all good. However, Dr. Bernabei, Balance Health Center in Center City Philadelphia, BY FAR has been one of the best. Not only are his adjustments less jarring than most, they are appropriate for each part of my spine. He incorporates pressure point "mini-massage" to the knots, to help release my back, not just release my spine. I can go many weeks (up to about eight) feeling good with his adjustments. He'll suggest routines at home to help myself. In addition to that, he's knowledgeable about nutrition and health, and is affable. I've been a patient of his for years off (when my work schedule precludes it) and on, and I'm glad I'm in town now to go to him exclusively.
