I cannot recommend spinal decompression here. At $135 for less than 20 mins of decompression. It seems like highway robbery. The machine didnt work as well as other machines ive been on. Wish i didnt go through with that and waste $135 of my HSA account balance. I bought a decompression belt on amazon for $40 and will probably get more benefits from it then doing decompression for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The decompression service should be like $30 dollars in my opinion. Very curious to know what other places are charging for decompression. May call around just out of curiosity. One guy also was forgotten about my first visit there while having something on his back and he had to speak up to get their attention.

My wife contacted Chiropractic Health of Matthews to ask if they were in-network for her Blue Cross health plan. They said they were, so she made an appointment. At the appointment, they charged her the $25 in-network copay associated with her plan. She was not impressed with the chiropractic treatment she received - didn't seem to help. She had decided not to go back. A couple of days later, she got a bill from the their office for $272. They said they found out they were NOT in-network for my wife's specific plan and she owed for the full visit ($297). What! They were the ones who said they were in-network. Otherwise, my wife wouldn't have gone there. When I called them to discuss this, I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was not available (of course) but would call me back. That didn't happen. I had to follow up until I finally was able to speak to her. She said basically it wasn't their problem and that they didn't find out they weren't in-network until they put through the charges. So the incorrect information they told my wife is HER problem, not theirs. I had to keep following up with the supervisor, who supposedly had to run it by someone higher up, and it went nowhere. I would NOT recommend this business from a medical or integrity standpoint. UPDATE: Given Dr. Mozingo's response below, they obviously know there are other factors that determine whether they are in-network for a specific plan. Therefore, instead of telling my wife they ARE in network (without really knowing), then billing us about $300 when it turns out they were wrong, they could have: A) taken my wife's insurance info and checked with Blue Cross to verify coverage (excellent customer service), or B) explained the factors Dr. Mozingo cited and encourage my wife to check with BC to verify coverage (good customer service). Giving out misleading information and billing the patient when you are wrong is very poor customer service.

Dr Jose is absolutely amazing. My bones and joints feel great every time I come to my weekly session. I feel great, & Dr Jose caters to the senior community with exceptional quality care and results that you can feel. Particularly if you are over the age of 80 like my wife and I. Dr Jose is takes excellent care and caters intentionally to the senior community and all ages in between. I came to Dr Jose with sciatica issues in my back and legs, and honestly after my first session and a few days to mellow out what my body experienced, I can honestly say that I have not felt any pain and I'm on my 4th session in 3 weeks.
