Dr. keita is a special, gifted Subject Matter Expert on Holistic Chiropractic Care. I have lived in NW DC for 7 years and been with her for about 5 years. She sets the bar high because she truly educates me and goes above and beyond to get to the root of the issue. In one visit she implements several modalities to address my problems holistically. Despite living in NW, I travel way across town for her because she is a wise, knowledgeable, loving, honest and believes in Knowledge Transfer which as an educated consumer I highly prioritize.

All 3 stars are due to the great care I was given by Dr Vanterpool, when I was actually able to see her. They closed Dec 2021 for renovations and I was never notified of their reopening and no calls or emails I left were returned. I saw the Dr for a few months and their first appointment was at 9am, more often than not I was put in a massage chair and waited 15 min-1 hrs for the Dr to even get there. On at least one occasion I left because I needed to go to work. I'm sure the experience would have been much better if I was able to come midday. Dr Vanterpool herself was incredibly kind, attentive, and informative, but never knowing how long I was going to have to wait for my appointment (which I had 2-3x/week) was incredibly frustrating and then feeling like I was ghosted after their notice of closing due to renovations was just not a 5 star experience for me.

I have been seeing Dr. Vanterpool for a little under a month now and I have nothing but high praises to give. She is an amazing practitioner, who truly wants you to walk out feeling better and more connected to yourself. Although it did take a little time to initially get connected and have my first visit booked, it was worth the effort on my part in calling and waiting. Nia, who works the front desk is really kind and puts in the extra effort to work with your schedule and get you in as soon as possible, which is something I really appreciate. Another thing that I love about coming here is that Dr. Vanterpool will answer any questions you may have about what she's doing during your visit. She does a really good job at breaking down complex spinal/nerve functioning into simpler terms that leave me walking away feeling more knowledgable about my own body and how to care for it. Since starting to receive chiropractor care I have felt myself come back to me and I am so grateful. I look forward to continue receiving care at Chirokei and so should you!!

The hallmark of a great business is Customer Service. Chirokei is currently undergoing renovations but the business of Customer Service continues and is thieving. Dr. Vanderpool provided me two referrals to get treatment and not be delayed by the continuing work on the clinic. Thank you very much!!!!!

Dr. V. is very knowledgeable and knows how to do her job. It's very obvious she care about the health and well-being of her patients. Professionalism is utilize each visit.
