TLDR: Go here NOW. Dr. Emily and everyone I've encountered at Blue Sky actually LISTEN to you and are deeply invested in helping you address your issues, relieve your pain and making you feel better! I've been dealing with shoulder impingement for over two years from a sports injury. Back and forth between my PCP, orthopedic docs, xrays, MRI's, and physical therapists who gave me generic exercises that didn't help. Jus tell me exactly what's wrong and how to start fixing it, right?! After I couldn't take it anymore, I did some research online and found Dr. Emily at Blue Sky. From the FIRST session, she's LISTENED to me describe my injuries and concerns, actually takes NOTES while we're talking and makes immediate suggestions on things like my posture and upgrading my exercise to deal with my shoulder pain! She's taken the time to explain the workings of my shoulder/arm and why and where the pain is coming from, and we've worked through lots of treatment options to see which ones my body responds to the best. Every session we add new "homework" exercises which she emails to me with video links (after doing them live in the office) - she even took the time to record a video of herself working on my arm so that I could do the same thing at home! In addition to my sports therapy with Dr. Emily, I've been getting Laser therapy for my shoulder, which has actually helped increase my range of motion. Colby and Madison are amazing laser techs, super friendly and great at what they do. I know shoulder impingement doesn't improve overnight, but I've had more noticeable improvement with Blue Sky IN JUST TWO MONTHS than I've had with doctors and orthopedic places in two years. Scheduling and communication is fantastic - Emily responds via email usually within 24 hours or less if I ever have questions. Cost is moderate to high depending on the services you choose, but honestly I'd rather give my money to a place where they're invested in your recovery and well being than flushing it down another medical practice rabbit hole. I highly recommend Dr. Blair! I'm an ultra trail runner, and I was dealing with some pretty bad, stubborn pain in my fibular head.
